Micro blogging is used in various ways through the internet. It is generally used for users to interact with each other by sending, receiving and pictures and audio clips. It is usually limited to 140 characters which mean you have to keep the comments at a limit and get direct to the point. A good example of micro blogging would be twitter this is a way to share and receive information anytime you want with people that you want.

Micro blogging can be used in education through a number of different ways such as www.edmodo.com. This is a teacher student site that allows access to blogs that will help with studies although you do need a code off your teacher to access it.
